Your Neighbourhood Team

We have four neighbourhood teams across the district, managed by a team leader responsible for a group of housing officers and other support. These officers work together to support the tenancies, neighbourhoods, and lettings in each area.
There are two housing officers per patch. There is also help available for customers from the Independent Living Service, from the income team who deal with rent paying, and a dedicated surveyor looking after the condition of properties in each patch.
Team leaders have responsibility for a service area, whether this is dealing with antisocial behaviour, community enabling or letting our homes.
We aim to ensure we get to know our customers on a face-to-face basis and ensure Homes in Somerset continues to have that personal touch.
