Impressive joint Tenant Satisfaction Measures revealed

We’re proud to share a glowing set of joint Tenant Satisfaction Measures (TSMs) with Homes in Somerset and Somerset Council for the year ending 2024/25.

TSMs are benchmark standards set by the Regulator of Social Housing to provide us with customer satisfaction targets.

From this information we produce regular performance reports, which we share on our website every other month, to demonstrate how we’re performing.

Both sets of scores are really strong, leading to a high collaborative score and we are delighted to report that both landlords scored well above the national average of 72.5% for overall tenant satisfaction, with a combined rating of 79%.

Homes in Somerset achieved an overall tenant satisfaction rating of 82.9% leading to a combined score of 79%, and satisfaction rating of time taken to complete most recent repair at 86.2% equating to a combined score of 81%.

The overall satisfaction score is up by 2.6% on last year, and reflects how we continuously use this feedback to drive our services forward and provide the very best for our customers.

Our full combined TSM figures are available on our website HERE. You can also view our individual scores, which we publish regularly HERE.

Both Homes in Somerset Chief Executive Peter Hatch and Somerset Council Executive Director – Community, Place & Economy Homes, Chris Hall praised the excellent results, with Mr Hatch adding:

“The latest TSMs show what a solid foundation both Homes in Somerset and Somerset Council are providing for their customers, hitting targets and more often than not exceeding national standards.

“It’s wonderful to see that our overall satisfaction rating is up by more than a percentage point on last year’s figures. This is because we consistently strive for better and never rest on our laurels. With these combined results, we will continue to work together in partnership to ensure that next year we go even further together to deliver on the exemplary standards that our customers, quite rightly, expect.”

  • Although we submit our results to the Social Housing Regulator together, Somerset Council’s in-house landlord service and Homes in Somerset both publish the results of their TSMs on their own websites, so tenants can see how their own landlord is doing.
