Tenants Help Bring New Life to Communal Garden

Tenants are enjoying a refreshed communal garden thanks to a partnership between our Community Enabler Team, local tenants and contractor Rand Associates.

Following feedback from residents, Sharon and Jade from the Community Enabler Team organised an engagement day to help improve the outdoor space. Together, they tackled overgrown weeds, carried out a general tidy-up and worked to create a more welcoming environment for everyone to enjoy.

The improvements also included the installation of new washing lines and the creation of a dedicated seating area, giving tenants a comfortable space to relax, socialise and make the most of the warmer weather.

A key part of the transformation was made possible through the generous donation of benches from Rand Associates, helping to bring tenants’ ideas to life and create a space the community can be proud of.

One tenant said:

“We are so happy with Jade and Sharon and what they have transformed our communal garden into. We can enjoy it now. Thanks ever so much.”

Projects like this demonstrate the value of listening to tenants and working together to make meaningful improvements that enhance wellbeing, strengthen communities and create places people are proud to call home.
