Working together to help clean up North Petherton

Last Saturday, local residents came together with Homes in Somerset and the Leader of Somerset Council, Bill Revans, to help clean up North Petherton as part of a community litter pick.

The event was a real joint effort, with people giving up their time to help make the area cleaner and more welcoming for everyone who lives there. From picking up litter to chatting with neighbours, the day showed the strength of the local community and what can be achieved when everyone works together.

Homes in Somerset Community Enabler, Sharon, helped to organise the litter pick and said it was great to see so many people getting involved.
