Sustainability and retrofit training has been delivered for HiS staff and tenants by contractors Bell Group, our contractors who completed the flagship retrofit works at Dunwear House.
Led by Bryn Posey, Technical Manager from Bell; HiS colleagues Retrofit Project Coordinator James, Community Enabler Sharon and Laura from the Communications team attended, along with interested tenants who asked plenty of questions.
Bryn covered topics such as how to best heat and cool the home, why retrofit is necessary and showed effective technologies such as energy efficient windows and a heat scanner which shows where heat is lost in the home.
