Supporting Antisocial Behaviour Awareness Week – noise as a nuisance

We’re  proud to be supporting Antisocial Behaviour Awareness (ASB) Week, a national campaign aimed at tackling antisocial behaviour and making our communities safer.

Homes in Somerset is passionate about ensuring that your home and the communities in which you live are safe for you and your family and we encourage customers to report all incidents of anti-social behaviour for us to investigate.

One of the issues we get most complaints about is noise – In 2024/2025 – Homes in Somerset raised 48 ASB cases that were due to noise nuisance.

We offer a range of tools to be able to gather evidence when investigating a noise nuisance complaint. Customers who are complaining about noise nuisance such as shouting, loud music and other noise related anti-social behaviour can be given access to the Noise App to record and report incidents of noise nuisance. This makes it easier for our customers to report incidents to us and allows us to review the reports being made which in turn can support the case if we are in a position to take tenancy action. You can find more information regarding the Noise App here – TNA Public Info Core

We’ll be covering more ASB stories this week to raise awareness and to remind customers that they must get in touch if they are concerned, and there are other support groups including:

If you’re affected by ASB, support is available:
